Where the account meets the business

The decisions hiding behind a sale.

    01

    Returns distort the revenue story.

Gross checkout revenue can overstate what you retain after returns. Where observed return rates and contribution data are reliable, we account for the lag before assessing spend. Google Ads cannot fix sizing, product quality or every return.

    02

A style is in stock, but key sizes are gone.

A feed may still advertise a style when commercially important sizes have sold out. We assess size availability and demand before deciding where to constrain promotion, rather than pausing every remaining variant.

    03

    Remaining stock is fragmented.

Scattered sizes and colours need a different goal from replenishable bestsellers. We separate lines to protect or scale from end-of-season stock that may need controlled cash recovery.

    04

Style × colour × size hides the decision.

Variant-heavy catalogues can dilute reporting. We organise product and variant information and feed labels around decisions about margin, availability and stock age, not a campaign for every SKU.

    05

The price changes before the target does.

Markdowns, season and replenishment change the economics. We use live price and current margin to assess targets and agree cash-recovery floors before pushing ageing stock.

A stock decision, not an automatic rule

In stock does not always mean available in the sizes customers need.

A style can still appear available in the feed after commercially important sizes sell out. Assess size-level availability and demand before deciding whether to keep promoting the style, shift emphasis or constrain spend. Do not blanket-pause every remaining variant.

The style is technically in stock, but its size run is broken. The right advertising decision depends on demand, margin and replenishment.

    How we manage

    Commercial context before campaign changes.

We begin with the account and the product data you already have. We examine retained value after returns where the evidence supports it, size-level availability, current margin and stock age. Then we agree which ranges are suited to growth, contribution protection or controlled recovery before changing Search, Shopping or Performance Max. No automatic job assignment and no unnecessary rebuild.

We start by understanding the existing account and your priorities. Your accounts, feeds and data remain yours. Changes follow evidence, not a default rebuild.

    ClosureLDN / Shopping routing

    Different stock needs different decisions.

We separated high-return products, broken-size lines, cash-flow stock and new-customer products into four differentiated Shopping routing groups. High-return and broken-size groups were restrained; the others were allowed higher bids. The review still identified exclusions in the main Performance Max campaign as work to finish.

Gross cash recovered from aged stock

Client-reported gross cash recovered from aged stock in a 45-day programme. Cash recovered, not profit, contribution or saved ad spend. An observed client result, not a guarantee. This is not a promise for fashion brands.

    Working together

A considered start. Your account stays yours.

First we talk through your commercial priorities and the account as it stands. If there is a fit, we agree what needs checking, what should stay in place and what needs to change.

Your Google Ads account, Merchant Center, Analytics, feeds and audiences stay in your ownership. We don't assume a wholesale rebuild is the answer.

Best suited to established physical-product ecommerce brands, typically spending £10k+ a month on Google Ads. Smaller accounts can still enquire.

    Before you enquire

    Straight answers.

How do you handle return lag and incomplete data?

We use observed return rates and contribution where reliable, allow for the time between sale and return, and identify gaps before making a decision. We do not present an estimate as a confirmed outcome or claim advertising fixes sizing and product quality.

Will you stop ads for a style with broken sizes?

Not automatically. We assess which sizes remain, demand for them, margin and replenishment before deciding whether to keep promoting the style, change emphasis or constrain spend. Remaining variants are not blanket-paused.

Can you take over from our existing agency?

Yes. We review measurement and what already works first, plan a safe handover and change only what the evidence supports. Your accounts, feeds and audiences remain yours.

What are the fee and fit?

Retained Google Ads management starts from £2,000/month as a fixed fee, not a percentage of media spend. We typically work with established physical-product ecommerce brands spending £10k+ a month on Google Ads. That is guidance, not a minimum. Start with a free 30-minute conversation, not a promised written audit.
