PPC Manager – JudeLuxe - (Flexibility on job title)
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary: £40,000 per annum (with flexibility for exceptional experience) + performance-related bonus
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports to: Head of Paid Search
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible for the right candidateAbout JudeLuxe
JudeLuxe is a fast-scaling PPC agency working exclusively with ambitious e-commerce brands across the UK, Europe, and North America. We exist to drive profitable growth — not just traffic or revenue — through performance-obsessed Google Ads strategies that go deep on data, feed optimisation, and contribution margin.
We’re not a full-service agency. PPC is what we do. And we do it well.
Following a period of rapid growth and exciting client wins, we’re now looking for an experienced PPC Manager to join the team and take ownership of strategy, client performance, and leadership within our Paid Search function.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a confident and highly capable PPC Manager who can take the lead on client delivery, campaign strategy, feed performance, and account development across e-commerce brands.
This is a hands-on role — you’ll be creating, managing, and optimising Google Ads campaigns (particularly Shopping and Performance Max), owning key client relationships, and working with internal stakeholders to ensure our output is commercially focused and performance-driven.
You’ll also manage and support the development of direct reports, and collaborate with our founders, CTO, and Head of Operations to strengthen our delivery model, develop team talent, and drive long-term growth.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, understands how to turn data into strategy, and enjoys solving complex performance challenges — we’d love to hear from you.
Please note: This is a specialist role focused solely on Google Ads for e-commerce. It is not a multi-disciplinary digital marketing position. We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in Google Ads, particularly Shopping and Performance Max. Applicants without relevant experience in these areas, or with a broader SEO or paid social background (e.g. Meta), will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
-
Plan, structure, and manage campaigns across Google Ads, especially Shopping, Performance Max, and Search.
-
Confidently manage monthly budgets of £10k+ per account, and oversee a collective client spend of £150-200k+ per month.
-
Optimise and troubleshoot Google Shopping feeds using internal tools. Experience with platforms like DataFeedWatch, Shoptimised, or similar is beneficial and will provide transferable skills.
-
Collaborate with the CTO to ensure feeds are functional, optimised, and aligned with campaign goals.
-
Manage disapprovals, diagnostics, appeals, and promotions via Google Merchant Centre.
-
Create profit-first strategies based on clients’ business models, cost structures, and margin data (POAS over ROAS).
-
Conduct audits of new accounts, identify bottlenecks, and implement clear optimisation plans.
-
Monitor key PPC KPIs including: ROAS, POAS, CPA, CTR, impression share, and feed health metrics.
-
Present performance insights and recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
-
Line manage and develop direct reports, offering regular feedback, guidance, and support.
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with founders, operations, and sales to ensure aligned delivery and strategic planning.
-
Lead client calls and face-to-face meetings, serving as the strategic lead on assigned accounts.
Skills & Experience - Required
Core Technical Skills
-
Expert-level experience managing Google Ads campaigns for e-commerce, especially Shopping and Performance Max.
-
Strong understanding of feed-based advertising and experience managing product feeds via Google Merchant Centre.
-
Familiarity with feed tools such as DataFeedWatch, Shoptimised, or Feedonomics to enhance product titles, categorisation, and diagnostics.
-
Demonstrated ability to build and scale account structures using advanced segmentation and bidding strategies.
Commercial & Strategic Thinking
-
Deep understanding of CAC, POAS, LTV, and blended metrics across paid channels.
-
Capable of auditing client accounts and creating actionable roadmaps based on business goals.
-
Can confidently interpret profit margins, identify performance leaks, and design tactics to fix them.
-
Experience building scalable campaign architectures across SKU, margin, and inventory groupings.
Soft Skills & Leadership
-
Strong communicator who can simplify complex data and confidently manage client expectations.
-
Proactive and highly accountable — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance culture.
-
Clear written and verbal English communication — essential for both client-facing work and internal collaboration.
-
Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and fostering high-performance behaviours.
Tools & Reporting
-
Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and Looker Studio.
-
Bonus: experience with scripts, bulk edits, automated rules, and workflow tools.
-
Able to build or edit reporting dashboards and profit models in Google Sheets or similar.
Continuous Improvement & Learning
-
Stays up to date with the latest changes across Google Ads, Shopping, and feed management platforms.
-
Proactively tests new tools, features, and bidding strategies to improve account performance.
-
Brings new ideas and methods to the team — with a mindset of innovation, experimentation, and learning.
What We’re Looking For - Essential
-
5+ years of experience specialising in PPC (Google Ads and feed optimisation), with at least 2 years in a leadership or line management position.
-
Agency-side experience working with DTC or product-based e-commerce brands (essential).
-
Applicants must reside in the UK, and due to client meeting requirements, those based in England will be prioritised.
-
Candidates must have a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as occasional client travel is required. All travel will be reimbursed in line with our expenses policy.
-
A self-starter with high attention to detail, analytical rigour, and the confidence to lead delivery.
-
Someone ready to roll up their sleeves and be hands on, manage complexity, and drive performance at scale.
What We Offer
-
Remote-first role (UK-based). JudeLuxe is set up to support remote working — you’ll work standard hours from the comfort of your own home, with no daily commute.
-
Travel required for client meetings, industry events, and occasional team sessions — mostly within the UK (especially London and the South), and occasionally abroad. We see this as a perk — a chance to stay connected with clients and the industry in person.
-
Full ownership of client accounts, performance, and delivery — with support where needed.
-
A highly ambitious but grounded team that values performance and people in equal measure.
-
Development opportunities — and input into how we scale, hire, and lead.
-
Competitive salary (DOE), 25 days’ annual leave + 8 UK bank holidays. Benefits package to be confirmed.
