    Switching agency

How do I run a Google Ads audit on my current agency?

    Why this matters

You can run a meaningful first-pass audit on your own account in an afternoon. The aim is not to replace a professional audit: it is to know whether one is needed.

Check one: account structure. Open the Campaigns view. Can you tell what each campaign is for from its name and what role it plays? Or is it 'PMax 1', 'PMax 2', 'PMax brand' with no obvious commercial logic? Clarity here is a leading indicator.

Check two: bidding logic. Look at the tROAS / tCPA targets across campaigns. Is there variation that reflects different commercial roles? Or is the same target applied across everything? Single-target accounts are usually under-managed.

Check three: PMax brand exclusion. In PMax campaigns, check whether a brand exclusion list is applied. If not, you are paying PMax CPCs for branded traffic.

Check four: asset group organisation. Inside PMax, look at how asset groups are grouped. By category (default), by margin band (better), by commercial role (best). Three or more asset groups per campaign is the floor.

Check five: change log. Ask the agency for the last 90 days of changes. What was changed, when, why. A clean log exists or it does not.

Check six: reporting depth. Does the monthly report include contribution profit and POAS, or just ROAS and revenue? The former is commercial management; the latter is platform management.

Three or more failures usually justifies a deeper external audit before any stay-or-go decision.

    How JudeLuxe approaches this

JudeLuxe runs the full Profit Audit on top of these six checks, including the data layer (COGS, returns, fulfilment) that you cannot easily self-audit. It takes five to seven working days and produces a written report you can use either way.

The how-we-audit page documents the full methodology.
